Qualcomm is said to be working on a Nintendo Switch clone, which could be released next year.

Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, specifically the 800-series chipset, which will replace the Snapdragon 888, could power the Qualcomm console. As a result, the console's form factor may be affected by smartphones. The build may also imitate the Nintendo Switch, complete with detachable joy-con controllers, according to sources. Cooling requirements, on the other hand, would make the project impossible.

We might see an expandable memory card slot, cellular support, Bluetooth, GPS, haptic feedback, and accelerometers among the features. 5G connectivity would almost certainly be included with the latest 800-series chips. If the smartphone is released next year, it will most likely run Android 12 with a custom launcher.

According to a paper, a third-party company will develop controller support for the console. A 6,000mAh battery, fast charging, and a price tag of around $300 (roughly Rs 21,7300) are also planned. 

With the rise of mobile gaming in recent years, as well as the popularity of dedicated gaming smartphones from companies including Asus ROG, Nubia, and Black Shark, Qualcomm's console could be able to shake up the market and introduce new possibilities to the gaming world.
