Earlier last month the instant messaging app WhatsApp introduced a beta version of the Mute Video Feature is now rolling out for the stable android users. Using this amazing tool the users can now mute the audio of the video before sending it to their contacts or adding it to status.
On 27 Feb the WhatsApp tweeted on Twitter "For your eyes not your ears. You can now mute the audio on your videos before adding them to your Status or sending in chat. Now available on android."
How to Use WhatsApp Mute Video Feature:
As it's out of beta version, to use this feature Android users have to update their WhatsApp to the latest version, Once it's done after recording and selecting the video for sharing, on edit page below the timeline a new speaker icon can now be seen on top left side of the edit page. Using this icon the audio of the recorded video can be turned off, and can be sent without any hesitations.
However, this feature is only available for Android users and there is no official announcement on launching this feature on the ios platform.
