New Firefox

Mozilla Firefox has announced a new version of its popular browser on Twitter. The company has been in business for 20 years and has become one of the most preferred browsers worldwide.

Firefox tweeted, “You don’t last 20 years as a browser without making improvements along the way. So on June 1, that’s exactly what we’re doing. Get ready for a fresh new Firefox.”

The Mozilla browser offers new features such as picture-in-picture and privacy settings that prevent cookies from being tracked. Mozilla expanded the picture view to include multiple images, which is available on Mac, Linux, and Windows. It also includes keyboard controls for rewinding and fast-forwarding.

Featuring a separate cookie jar for every website, Total Cookie Protection prevents websites from tracking you across the internet. Firefox has now been equipped with very strong, comprehensive protection against cookies tracking, thanks to Total Cookie Protection and ETP (Enhanced Tracking Protection). ETP Strict Mode will be available on both the desktop and Android versions," the blog said. This feature will prevent cookie tracking across the web as users browse from site to site.

Chrome received some interesting updates announced at Google IO, including a new password manager that helps users track passwords that have been exposed. Following this, users will be shown a "Change Password" button, which will enable them to change passwords with just one tap. Until Google introduces the new feature, users will still be able to manually change passwords. It is easier to remember passwords that have been changed manually rather than using the new feature, but the new feature would alert users when their passwords are compromised.

A quick deletion feature added to Chrome allows users to easily delete their 15 minutes of search history with a single tap from the Google Account Menu.
